In order for a subscriber to be considered opted-in he/she must agree to provide their email and IP address and mandatory personal information to T5 Healthy Living, including first name, last name, postal address and telephone number. Additionally, the subscribers can volunteer additional personal demographic information, such as age, income, gender, occupation, presence of credit card(s), presence of children and dwelling type. The last step in the opt-in process is the indication of lifestyle preference, which is also optional.
After the initial opt-in, each subscriber receives an automatic responder message (ARM), acknowledging the opt-in and informing them that they would be receiving a follow up, online-based lifestyles survey. This survey acts as the 3rd step of the permission-gathering process (2nd level opt-in) and is designed to gather psychographic information on each subscriber who decides to participate. The final step is the confirmation of all gathered information against T5 Healthy Living 160 million US consumers and 6 million business postal database. The postal confirmation acts as a verification tool, making sure that the consumers are truthfully matched to their most current postal address and that the phone number given during the initial opt-in is an accurate one.
Subscribers may unsubscribe from any of our e-mail, or related online and offline marketing programs at any time. Each email communication sent from T5 Healthy Living contains at least 2 opt-out vehicles, identified as hyperlinks or physical addresses of the advertiser or list owner. Additionally, our advertising partner may insert an opt-out hyperlink as well. Therefore, not only is opting out seamless and quick, it is also in compliance with the CAN SPAM Act of 2003.
We attempt to process all unsubscribe requests in a prompt fashion. However, after unsubscribing, we cannot guarantee that subscribers will never receive another mailing from us, because we may obtain a subscriber e-mail and IP address in the future through a different e-mail marketing program that the subscriber has opted into. We can guarantee, however, that if a subscriber should ever receive another e-mail communication from T5 Healthy Living, he/she will be able to remove their e-mail and IP address via the unsubscribe hyperlink. All opt-outs are processed no later than 72 hours after the original request submission.
